Monthly Seminar Series

Monthly Seminar Series consist of lectures presented by project members and invited featured scientists. These series intend to serve as a collaborative platform between CrEAMA Initiative members, scientists and peers on a broader European scale. Through monthly conjuring, the Monthly Seminar Series promote an Multi/Inter/Trans/disciplinary approach to resolving important research issues.

 

1st Seminar

June 2, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Dr. Ino Čurik will present his scientific research with a lecture entitled “Inbreeding in the time of the genomics.” The presentation will take place in the Department of Animal Science Classroom, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, on Friday, June 2, 11 a.m.

Location: Svetošimunska 25, Hall 2, 2nd Floor, NE corner of the building

2nd Seminar

Dr. Jadranka Mauch Lenardić will present her scientific research with a lecture entitled “Paleontology of Quaternary Small and Big Mammals.” The presentation will take place in the Institute for Quaternary Paleontology and Geology, Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, on Friday, June 16, 11 a.m.

Location: Ante Kovačića 5, 2nd Floor

Dr. Davorka Radovčić will present her collaborative scientific research with a lecture entitled “Krapina Neandertal symbolic behavior.” The presentation will take place in the Institute for Quaternary Paleontology and Geology, Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, on Friday, June 16, 12 p.m.
