Report of the eight JC of 11/13/2025, the PhenoGeno project

The ninth meeting of the Journal Club was held on Thursday, November 13. The topic of the meeting was the paper "The efficient phasing and imputation pipeline of low coverage whole genome sequencing data using a high quality and publicly available reference panel in cattle" (Zhang et al., 2023), which was presented by colleague Zvonimir Mijadžiković. The meeting was extremely productive and stimulated several discussions and opened up many important methodological issues. This work is of particular importance for the understanding and implementation of the methods that will be used as part of the PhenoGeno project.
