Report from ENE2025 conference, Zadar, May 22nd to 25th, 2025

 

The 2nd "Conference on the Emergence of the Neolithic in Europe" (ENE2025) was held in Zadar from May 22nd to 25th 2025, at the Department of Archaeology of the University of Zadar. Professor Vlatka Čubrić Čurik gave an oral presentation "Unravelling the Genetic History of Cattle in the Balkans", which presented the problems and issues of Neolithization in the Balkans, the GAbridge project and preliminary results of DNA analysis of two Neolithic cattle remains from Istria.
