World Neolithic Congress, Sanliurfa, Turkey, November 4th to 8th, 2024

 

Members of the GAbridge research group participated in the World Neolithic Congress, and Professor Vlatka Čubrić Čurik gave an oral presentation entitled "The Importance of Anatolia and the Balkans for the Domestication of Cattle in Europe: Modern and Ancient Genomic Perspectives". On this occasion, the GAbridge project was presented to the global scientific community, starting with presenting the problem of a lack of research and high-quality ancient DNA samples from the Balkans and Anatolia, which are considered key areas in the process and start of Neolithization in Europe.
