Presentation at EAAP 2020

In the period from 1.12. - 4.12.2020. the staff of the Department of General Animal Husbandry, prof.dr.sc. Ino Čurik, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Vlatka Čubrić Čurik, Ph.D. Maja Ferenčaković, Ivana Držaić mag.ing.agr and dr.sc. Vladimir Brajković, participated in the international conference 71st Annual Meeting from European Federation from Animal Science (EAAP 2020).

This year's international conference was held virtually, and among 72 scientific sections and 1,100 exhibitors, our colleagues gave oral and poster presentations entitled:
"Copy number variation analysis of the East Adriatic sheep breeds" - doc.dr.sc. Maja Ferenčaković,
"Genomic analysis of indigenous Croatian sheep breeds based on a high density SNP chip" - Ivana Držaić, mag.ing.agr.
"Signatures of selection in three indigenous Croatian cattle breeds" - dr.sc. Vladimir Brajković.

During the international conference we could hear about many interesting researches and new methods and we would like to highlight them:
„Breeding and genetics – ten years of genomicselection“,
„Genetic diversity“,
„Long-term selection andlimits“,
„Genetics poster session“.
